Description

The Access Fixed Income Fund is a mutual fund (i.e. a collective investment scheme) that pools money from many investors and invests primarily in fixed income securities of the Federal Government of Nigeria (also known as FGN bonds). Access Investments and Securities (AIS) as the fund manager will trade (buy and sell) these bonds in accordance with the fund’s investment objective (see below) and will distribute the net realized investment gains from the sale of these securities to the fund’s investors annually.

Investment Objective

The primary investment objective of this fund is to achieve attractive long term returns that are relatively uncorrelated with the Nigerian equities market by investing in a diversified portfolio of FGN bonds and money market securities. The economies of scale advantage of this fund will enable it to operate in an extremely efficient manner, thereby minimizing transactions costs.
